Adam J. Shaw, MRICS, MAIQS — USA Lead, Infrastructure & Capital Projects, Accenture, speaking in Dublin, December 2025.

Watch Adam J. Shaw of Accenture explain how a mega-project like MetroLink doesn't just build infrastructure — it builds people. He argues that intentional workforce policy on projects like this can turn inexperienced hires into subject matter experts over the life of the programme, multiplying the benefit far beyond the physical build.

"The force multiplier of the
benefits of a mega project."

Seán Fay, Founder, #WholeVillageHiring — an immigrant to Ireland and disability advocate, finding his tribe took lots of work.

Watch founder Seán Fay share advice that shaped #WVH's approach from the start — given to him by Ben Verwaayen, former CEO of BT, after a fellow Irish entrepreneur made the introduction. The counterintuitive lesson: when you're building something new, your competitors aren't just rivals — they're potential collaborators.

"Seek out your competitors
and collaborate with them."

We solve the talent mobility problems for the people NOT IN your hiring process.

We solve the talent mobility problems for the people NOT IN your hiring process. In video and elsewhere on this site, you will see evidence from journalists, critical government advisors, sector-specialized consultants, leading academics, and even the Taoiseach discussing Ireland's National Development Plan.
The programme is equivalent to circa €1,000 a minute invested from now and all the other 4.9 million minutes until the end of 2035; a workforce of 130,000 is needed to deliver it. Greater levels of people joining construction and infrastructure will be part of it, but experienced hiring is already a problem. #WVH already has the most data on Ireland's NDP workforce recruitment and retention.
Unless we engineer it, we will end up with a very male workforce, with poor retention and high costs due to additional services which our technology removes. #WVH does currently create housing in Ireland, but that is because it's the main issue stopping the near-shore, more balanced, and often more technical talent from joining in. (as well as our own coming back)
However, our USP is to fix all problems at scale. It takes a Village.
